Looking for something fun to do with the kids this March break?

Puppet Festival Mississauga returns for its 6th year, bringing world-class puppet shows, interactive workshops and performances to audiences of all ages.

From March 14 to 16, the festival will take over the Maja Prentice Theatre, located at 3650 Dixie Rd. in Mississauga. It will showcase award-winning international productions and offer immersive storytelling experiences.

One of this year’s highlights is Ramayana: Traditional Thai Puppetry, a stunning performance by Thailand’s Joe Louis Theatre, presented in Canada for the first time. This rare production brings the ancient art of Hun Lakorn Lek to life with intricate puppetry and a rich cultural heritage.

  • Giraffe – A puppet show from Greece following the journey of a boy and his beloved toy.
  • Cuckoo – A giant clock comes to life, weaving a whimsical and unexpected story.
