A big temperature swing is expected this weekend in southern Ontario.
Last weekend lows went down to -25 C with the windchill. But this post-Christmas weekend, it could be nearly shorts and t-shirt weather again.
Both Saturday and Sunday have highs of 8 C in Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville and Toronto, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
The temperature will remain around 8 C into the evening on Saturday. On Sunday, the low is 4 C.
Both days are expected to be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of rain on Saturday and a 60 per cent chance on Sunday.
Slightly warmer temperatures are expected in Hamilton on Saturday night with a high of 9 C. It could be cooler in Durham Region on Saturday with a high of 7 C expected.
The Niagara Region could see highs of around 9 C on both days.
