Two Central New York teens put on an ice fishing clinic last weekend on the south shore of Oneida Lake.
Best buds and ace anglers Bobby Mallory, 14, of Baldwinsville, and Parker Williamson, 15, of Sodus, hit the ice at 7 a.m. last Saturday, hauling their gear on a snowmobile.
When they’re not having fun on the hard water, Bobby and Parker run the back decks as 1st mates on their dads’ charter boats.
“These two maniacs talk fishing continuously,” said Bobby’s dad, Robert Mallory, who accompanied them on Saturday.
“Whether talking jigging bluegills at the docks after morning outings on Lake Ontario, or float fishing for steelhead, these two are cut from the same cloth,” he said.
