A pedestrian is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck in Pickering Tuesday morning.
Police and emergency personnel were called to Liverpool Road and Finch Avenue to investigate the accident, which sent the pedestrian to Ajax-Pickering Hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle remained on scene.
Police are still investigating but the intersection has reopened.
