Admirals season ends in game 6 with a 6-3 loss to the Lions [Video]

Norfolk goalie Thomas Milic made his ninth postseason appearance for with the Admirals, stopping 18 of the 23 shots he faced.

QUEBEC, Canada — With their backs against the wall and the season hanging in the balance, the Norfolk Admirals fought valiantly on enemy ice Tuesday night but ultimately fell short in a 6-3 loss to the Trois-Rivières Lions in Game 6 of the North Division Finals.

The defeat ends Norfolk’s postseason run, as the Lions take the series 4-2.

The Admirals came out swinging in the must-win showdown, responding quickly after an early Trois-Rivières goal. Andrew Coxhead struck first just two minutes in, beating Norfolk netminder Thomas Milic with a wrist shot from the left circle.
