Air Canada is adding new flights to popular travel destinations in Europe.
New flights will head to Porto, Portugal, Prague, Czech Republic and Edinburgh, Scotland this summer, according to a press release from Air Canada.
The inaugural flight from Montreal to Porto arrived Thursday morning.
“We are delighted to be returning to Porto, marking our newest Europe route this summer and second destination in Portugal,” said Mark Galardo, executive vice president and chief commercial officer and president, cargo.
Galardo said Air Canada hopes routes like this one will appeal to customers throughout the North American network.
“A world heritage city and gateway to Portugal’s northern region, Porto offers an array of history, culture, outdoor adventures, and gastronomic experiences,” Galardo said. “Whether customers are visiting friends, family or exploring Southern Europe, we look forward to welcoming our customers onboard our Portugal flights.”
