Akron police arrest Martinez Williams for murder in shooting of Ontario Bradley [Video]

AKRON, Ohio — Akron police say 31-year-old Martinez Williams has been arrested for murder in connection with a deadly weekend shooting that claimed the life of 24-year-old Ontario Bradley.

Williams is currently being held in the Summit County Jail.

Police say it was around 3:42 a.m. Saturday, May 31, when officers responded to the reported shooting in the 600 block of Darrow Road.

Upon their arrival, officers found Bradley with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Akron police say detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene.
