TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) – Residents in one of Tuscaloosa’s largest communities are hosting a party and everyone is invited!

Alberta Unity Day is headed into its third year this weekend and hopes to show community pride and support for everyone in it.

Best of all, it’s happening rain or shine.

Alberta Baptist Church hosts Alberta Unity Day Saturday, June 7 from 3 until 6 p.m.

Events for kids and adults will take place inside and outside the church, such as family games, bounce houses, wall climbing, the Bryant High School drum line, and a DJ will play music.

Pastor K.J. Pugh of Alberta Baptist Church and Quincella Allen are two of the organizers behind Alberta Unity Day.

They say they want to show love to everyone who calls Alberta home.
