The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office announced the recapture of four inmates who escaped jail on Oct. 15.(Video above: Previous Coverage)Deputies said Emanuel Robson Planco, Anton Conway Bennett, Kyonne Marquise McLeod, and De’Shawn Malik Fox worked together to escape from the Chesterfield County Detention Center. They said the men were in an overflow area of the detention center because the jail, which has a capacity of 95 prisoners, had 130 people incarcerated that night.The escapees kicked down a steel door, got outside and scaled a barbed wire fence, according to officials.Emanuel Robson Planco was captured by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in Richland County on Oct. 17.Anton Conway Bennett was apprehended on Oct. 17, 2024, by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department in Halifax County, North Carolina.Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater confirmed the arrest of inmates Deshawn Malik Fox and Kyonne Marquise McLeod, the remaining two escapees, on Saturday.Streater said the inmates …
