The View’s Sunny Hostin claimed on Wednesday that President Donald Trump is only interested in deporting illegal migrants that “look a certain way” while ignoring the Canadian border, prompting Alyssa Farah Griffin to attempt to jump in with a correction.

During a discussion on the current administration’s immigration policies on The View, Hostin argued that Trump is not interested in stopping illegal immigration because he’s not as focused on America’s northern border as he is its southern border with Mexico.

“I think what’s fascinating to me is yes, he ran on immigration and he ran really on the southern border because we know we also border Canada and that’s actually the largest border, but they’re not really going into Canada and looking for those Canadian people that are kind of jumping back and forth,” Hostin said.
