The moment was captured on a Florida flight from Jacksonville to Miami on January 30 by passenger Leighton Mixon (@leighterhaters). The clip has received 11.5 million views since it was posted on January 31.
The video comes in the wake of the January 29 crash involving American Airlines Flight 5342, which was en route to D.C. when it collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River. The incident was the deadliest in U.S. aviation history in nearly 25 years.
