Train service between Vancouver and Seattle has been halted after a landslide near White Rock, B.C., according to Amtrak.

The company posted about the disruption online Thursday.

“Due to a landslide covering the railroad tracks near White Rock, BC Canada, BNSF has placed a 48-hour moratorium on passenger service between Seattle and Vancouver,” the update reads.

Passengers travelling on the affected route will be provided with “alternate bus transportation,” Amtrak’s statement says.

Passenger rail service is expected to resume around noon on Friday.
