Another 15 cm on the way as more snow squall warnings issued in southern Ontario [Video]

Multiple winter weather advisories have been upgraded to snow squall warnings with another 15 cm of snowfall possible in some parts of southern Ontario.

A snow squall warning was issued for some communities on the shores of Lake Huron on Tuesday with Environment and Climate Change Canada saying to expect up to 25 cm of snow in London and surrounding areas.

Winter weather advisories were also issued on Tuesday for some parts of the province including Barrie, Owen Sound and Kincardine, but those advisories are now in the warning range with up to 15 cm more snowfall possible by Thursday.

“Lake effect snow squalls will continue to affect the area tonight. Heavy snow and local blowing snow can be expected at times,” Environment Canada says of the winter storms.
