Last night’s snow showers left us a fresh coating across east-central Wisconsin. Drivers should be alert to slippery travel for the morning commute, especially the side and secondary roads.
As our recent Alberta Clipper pulls away, have clearing out. In general, skies will be sunny to partly cloudy today.
Another surge of colder air is arriving. However, it won’t rival the arctic air that we endured earlier this week. Today’s high temperatures will be in the teens to about 20 degrees. Brisk northwest winds will give us wind chills in the single digits both above and below zero. It’s also likely that tonight’s low temperatures will fall below zero, especially considering we now have a thin blanket of snow. Wind chills tomorrow morning will dive down to -5 to -15 degrees.
