Another motorcyclist dies in crash in southern Ontario [Video]

A motorcyclist has died in a single-vehicle crash in Niagara Region.

Emergency crews responded to the collision on King Street between Lincoln Avenue and Stadelbauer Drive in Lincoln at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Niagara Regional Police said.

The lone 34-year-old man from Welland was operating a grey Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

King Street was closed but re-opened to traffic at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Thursday.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who may have been in the area with cell phones, closed circuit video recording, or dash camera footage between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., is asked to review their footage of the area and contact police if they observe anything that may help in the investigation.
