You can expect a cloudy start to the weekend with a chance of rain and some fog in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says Saturday is expected to start off cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa and the Durham Region.

There’s a 30 per cent chance of rain in Hamilton and the Niagara falls area, while areas north of Ottawa are under a rainfall warning this weekend and could see totals up to 60 mm.

There could also be fog patches in the early hours across the GTA, the weather agency says.

Winds will be blowing around 30 km/h throughout the day, gusting up to 60 km/h.

There’s more rain expected in the evening hours with a 30 per cent chance of showers, with conditions expected to clear overnight.
