Tuesday could bring showers and a risk of thunderstorms to the Greater Toronto Area and across southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says the day will start off with mainly cloudy conditions with a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa and the Durham Region, and the Niagara Falls area.
The afternoon could bring an increased chance of rain with a 70 per cent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms, with winds blowing around 30 km/h and gusting up to around 50 km/h.
The Weather Network says a “potent” Colorado low could bring storms to the province on Tuesday with ping-pong-sized hail possible in some parts of Ontario.
Some areas of southern and northeast Ontario are at risk of tornadoes, according to Environment Canada.
