Conditions should be mostly clear throughout the day in the Greater Toronto Area and across southern Ontario.

Environment Canada’s forecast for Wednesday calls for sunny skies to start the day following thunderstorm warnings and watches issued for much of the province.

Winds are expected to blow around 20 km/h and gusting up to around 40 km/h in the morning with a daytime high of around 15 C in Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and Hamilton.

Temperatures could be cooler by the lake front and will feel more like 10 C, the weather agency says.

The evening hours will bring more cloud cover to the region, increasing around midnight with an overnight low of around 6 C.

Thursday could see rain return to the GTA with a 70 per cent chance of showers in Mississauga and a high around 13 C, while Friday is expected to bring more showers with a high of …
