Armed convenience store robbery in Kitchener [Video]

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after they say a convenience store in Kitchener was robbed early Friday morning.

Police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Westmount Road around 4:15 a.m.

“Three male suspects entered the store, brandished a handgun towards an employee, and stole merchandise,” the media release said.

The men then fled on foot towards Overlea Drive.

The employee wasn’t injured.

Police describe the suspects as Black, between 20 to 25 years old, 6’0” tall and wearing dark-coloured clothing and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
