Three teens — two from Brampton, the other from Mississauga — face a total of more than 20 charges after electronics goods worth nearly $30,000 were taken during an armed robbery late last Friday afternoon north of the Greater Toronto Area.

Two additional suspects are also being sought by police in connection with the robbery, which targeted a retail shop in the town of New Tecumseth, about 90 kilometres northwest of Toronto.

Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police said five suspects armed with a gun entered the store at around 5 p.m. on May 16 and confronted those inside.

In addition to nearly $30,000 in electronics, a store employee’s designer Louis Vuitton purse was also taken by the culprits, police said in a news release.

Those responsible for the robbery then quickly fled in a waiting vehicle.

Police said nobody was injured in the holdup.
