A post about a DoorDash delivery driver who went above and beyond to ensure a pregnant customer received the ice cream she was craving has gone viral on Reddit.

The post, titled “MIL [mother-in-law] Doordash ice cream to my pregnant wife,” was shared by the customer’s husband, u/Amiable_Sloth, on the r/DoorDash subreddit, and has amassed 23,000 upvotes since it was posted on March 8.

It details how the husband’s mother-in-law placed a surprise ice cream order for his pregnant wife after hearing her express a craving over the phone. She ordered two flavors — mint chocolate chip and rocky road — through DoorDash. However, when the delivery driver, referred to as Austin, couldn’t find rocky road at the store, he called the mother-in-law to inform her.
