If a behind-the-scenes look at the men, women and the machines they use to plow the snow, cut the grass and make the City of Oshawa run smoothly is your jam, there is an event next Thursday you won’t want to miss.

Public Works at Work: Trucks, Tools and More is a family-friendly event taking place on Thursday, May 22, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Consolidated Operations Depot on Wentworth Street.

In celebration of National Public Works Week (May 18 to 24), residents and interested visitors will have the opportunity for a first-hand look at the trucks and equipment city workers use every day with site tours of the facility.

The event will also feature a family zone, entertainment and food trucks.

For more information and updates on this Oshawa Power- and Circular Materials-sponsored event, visit oshawa.ca/PublicWorks, email [email protected] or call (905) 436-3311.
