The Bandits are no strangers to the stage of the NLL Finals, but they also know each season and championship chase has its own story.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The scene is set for Banditland to experience yet another NLL Finals.

The Bandits were on the field at KeyBank Center for practice on the eve of Game 1 of the championship series against the Saskatchewan Rush, that’s set to take place Friday.

Buffalo knows the history that’s at stake with two wins in this best-of-3 series, but the team is also aware that every season is its own story.

“Last year should have nothing to do with this year,” said Bandits head coach John Tavares. “The team that we played last year has nothing to do with Saskatchewan. This is a whole new series all together. I do like to take the experience and think positively and think hey, we have an advantage. …
