The Bandits defeated the Saskatchewan Rush in Game 3 of the National Lacrosse League Finals to win the league-record 7th title in franchise history.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — History. Made.
A National Lacrosse League champion was crowned Saturday night in Buffalo, and for the third consecutive season, the champion goes by the same name: the Buffalo Bandits.
Buffalo defeated Saskatchewan in the winner-take-all Game 3 of the NLL Finals to not only capture the 2025 crown, but complete a rare three-peat.
The Bandits became just the second franchise in National Lacrosse League history to win three consecutive league championships, joining the 2012-14 Rochester Knighthawks as the only teams to pull off the feat.
Buffalo’s championship also breaks a tie with Toronto and Philadelphia for most titles by one franchise in league history. This year’s championship is the seventh in Bandits history, with the Rock and Wings sitting at six titles each.
