The Bank of Canada should end its interest rate hikes, as inflation is down to 2.5% without mortgage interest costs, according to an article in the Financial Post. The article says that the central bank is causing the very inflation its attempting to quell, and as such, should omit the cost of borrowing in its assessment of Canada’s inflation rate.
