WACO, Texas — After one year in Waco, Jalen Celestine entered the transfer portal on Wednesday.
Celestine joined the Baylor Bears ahead of the 2024-2025 season following three seasons in a California uniform (2020-2023). The guard from Ajax, Ontario, averaged 7.1 points and 3.5 rebounds across 31 games.
The Canadian was dependable from the foul line. Converting on 22 of 28 attempts, his free-throw percentage was 78.6%.

Rob Wright joined Baylor in 2024 as a freshman. Josh Ojianwuna is a three-year starter who committed to Baylor in 2022. Croatian freshman Marino Dubravcic appeared in 18 games, averaging 3.3 minutes and shooting fifty percent from the floor.
