As the page turns from winter to spring, it also turns on I Love to Read Month.

But what a chapter it was, bringing organizations, schools, and community entities together with the common goal of making reading fun and accessible for children.

MIX 96.7FM Hosts go on I Love to Read tour

To celebrate the month, MIX 96.7FM Morning Show host, Corny Rempel, travelled all over the southeast to share the wonder of reading with students from 25 schools by doing just that: reading stories.

Kenton Dyck, made surprise appearances throughout the tour — including as an elephant.

The tour has made quite an impression on students.

Melanie Mattson, the interim Vice Principal at Shevchenko School says, when asked what their favourite part of I Love to Read Month was, the MIX 96.6 duo was their first choice.
