LEWISTON, N.Y. — Blue Cave Cotemporary Italian Cuisine is open on Center Street in Lewiston, just in time for the busy summer season.
“We have a lot of festivals, people coming from Canada,” Owner and Chef Mario Bianca told 2 On Your Side.
After three years in downtown Buffalo, Chef Mario Bianca and his wife Pamela, a Niagara County native, relocated the business to the village’s historic Clarkson house.
It’s a cozy space with a wraparound bar and private dining room upstairs.
“My goal is for people to always feel like home,” Bianca said.
Bianca is from Sicily and has lived and cooked throughout Europe and the United States. His menu celebrates all regions of Italy, including caponata, arancini, salmon, short ribs, and steak.
Ziti alla Genovese is one of his signature, and most time consuming pasta dishes.
