Boil water advisory issued for Ile Perrot [Video]

The City of Île-Perrot said it has issued a boil water advisory for the entire territory after a water main break on 9th Avenue on Tuesday.

The advisory is in effect until further notice.

In a message on the city’s website, work is said to be progressing “well” and officials aim to restore the situation as quickly as possible.

Residents are urged to boil tap water for one minute before consuming it or using it for other activities, such as brushing your teeth and washing produce.
