Boler Mountain remains in full swing despite milder weather [Video]

A spell of warm winter weather melted away a lot of the snow in London this week, but that hasn’t stopped Boler Mountain from keeping its hills running.

Skiers, snowboarders, and tubers were enjoying the fresh powder on New Year’s Eve day.

“The outside crews work very hard. We were fortunate with some very good production hours for our snow-making team, and the grooming team was able to get the snow around and cover the places that needed to be covered,” said Marty Thody, Boler Mountain Manager.

Don’t let the warmer weather scare you off the slopes, “We’re looking at the forecast and seeing some good things down the road,” insisted Thody.

“We came out here when we got the big snow, and we came again because we wanted to hit the slopes a few more times before we leave,” said snowboarder and skier Hayley Brahm.
