Boy dies in homicide at Halifax Shopping Centre parkade | SaltWire #halifax #police #news

A teenaged boy has died after an incident in the Halifax Shopping Centre parkade on Monday.

Just after 5 police found an injured youth in the parkade and say he later died of his injuries in hospital.

Police say they are considering him a victim of a homicide. Two suspects were arrested on a Halifax Transit bus in the area of North Street at 5:25 p.m.
Police have not released the age of the victim, the ages or names of the suspects or what caused the boys injuries.

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 16-year-old Ahmad Maher Al Marrach. Halifax Regional Police have revealed that two youths were arrested on Monday and released today without charges.
