Brampton teen already in custody now charged with London hospital shooting [Video]

Doneil Josiah Levy-Porter, 18, of Brampton has been charged in connection to a shooting at a London hospital.

An 18-year-old from Brampton, recently charged in connection to a home invasion and shooting in Toronto, has now been arrested for attempted murder in London.

Police in that southwestern Ontario city say on Dec. 14, people in the emergency department of London Health Sciences Centre’s Victoria Hospital had to dive for cover when shots rang out from a vehicle that drove up to the hospital doors.

Investigators say the target was a man who had been wounded earlier at a different location and drove to the hospital for treatment. They believe the shooter followed the victim to the hospital in an attempt to finish the job.

Police say several shots were fired at the scene but nobody at the hospital was struck.
