ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Atlanta Braves are looking forward to celebrating with fans as they host their annual Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Night.
To bring in AANHPI Month, the Braves are set to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday night at Truist Park.
The team says they are excited to “celebrate and honor” the cultures and impact of AANHPI communities on and off the field.
Fans can head to The Battery before gates open to see performances from the Hong Hing Lion Dance Team and the Mahealani Polynesian Entertainment Group on Plaza Green.
Food will also be available from the Asian Street Eats food truck outside the Right Field Gate.
The Braves will keep the celebrations going on-field during pre-game, as AANHPI community leaders will take part in Friday night’s first pitch and play ball opportunity.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
