Windy conditions will be felt from Rapid City northward, continuing through tonight. After a lull during the late-night period tonight, stronger winds above the surface will descend in dry, stable air tomorrow, with gusts up to 55 mph in Northwestern South Dakota. 35 to 45 mph gusts are expected in the Rapid City area. Temperatures are likely to exceed 90° on Tuesday in Rapid City and approach that level in places like Sheridan, while mid-to-upper 80s are possible nearly everywhere else.
