Brockville police investigating shots fired on Church St. [Video]

The Brockville Police Service is investigating after gunshots were reported on Sunday night.

Police say they received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired near the intersection of Church Street and Clarissa Street at approximately 8 p.m.

An investigation reveals multiple rounds were fired towards a multi-unit residence.

There were no reports of injuries and police believe it was a targeted act of violence, according to a news release.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the area of Church Street, George Street, Perth Street, Gilmour Street and Maple Street to check their video surveillance in and around the time of the incident and report any suspicious activity.
