NEW PLYMOUTH, Idaho — A brush fire in New Plymouth that started July 6 near Elmore and Fairview was quickly extinguished and held to 10 acres. According to the New Plymouth Fire Protection District (NPFPD), no one was hurt.
Sand Hollow, Nyssa, Parma, Payette, Middleton, Wilder and Ontario fire crews assisted fighting the blaze.
“This fire could have been much worse, but thanks to our relationships and agreement, the Snake River Valley departments continue to work together to get the job done,” the department stated on social media.
No one was injured and no damages were reported.
