Buffalo Mayor Chris Scanlon challenges Saskatoon Mayor Cynthia Block to a friendly wager ahead of the NLL Championship.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — As the Buffalo Bandits attempt to win their third NLL Championship title on Saturday against the Saskatchewan Rush, acting Buffalo Mayor Chris Scanlon is joining in on the competition. 

Scanlon posted a video Friday to his X (formerly Twitter) challenging City of Saskatoon Mayor Cynthia Block to a friendly wager. 

“At the end of the day, I think our Bandits will prevail and FeedMore WNY will be the beneficiary to this friendly wager.” Scanlon said, “I want to thank Mayor Cynthia Block for entering into this wager. I wish everyone good luck tomorrow night and go Bandits!”. 

The City of Saskatoon Mayor Cynthia Block has yet to post her response, but when she does we will update it here.
