Mayor Andrea Horwath is calling for an inventory of “at-risk” buildings after a pair of boarded-up heritage addresses that date to the 1870s crumbled at Gore Park in downtown Hamilton.
Horwath also says it’s also crucial to understand how the King Street East buildings — which figure into long-stalled redevelopment plans — were left to deteriorate to the point of collapse early Monday.
