Calgary police have charged two teens in the armed robbery of a store in the Manchester Industrial area.
The robbery at the One Stop Vape Shop in the 6100 block of Macleod Trail S.W. happened at 6:40 p.m. on Oct. 22.
Police say two masked suspects entered the store and threatened an employee with a gun.
They later left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and vape products.
One of the accused, a 17-year-old boy, was arrested in the community of Edgemont in November.
The other, a 15-year-old, was arrested from Martindale earlier this month.
Both teens, who cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are charged with several offences including robbery with a firearm and unlawful confinement.
“These types of armed robberies can be incredibly traumatic for the victims,” said Staff Sgt. Kurt Jacobs in a Thursday news release.
