Calgary weather: A warm start to winter [Video]

Winter officially begins on Saturday, and we will kick the season off with a high of 5 C.

Saturday night into Sunday morning, Calgary and communities along the Trans-Canada and south will have mixed precipitation.

Freezing rain is possible, so the roads will be slick early Sunday morning.

It should clear out later in the morning.

After that, the weather looks pretty quiet; there’s a small chance of a few flurries on Christmas Day and a high around 3 C by then.

Have a wonderful holiday, everyone!
