As a child, Julia Sunay watched Broadway Across Canada productions in the audience in the Jubilee Auditorium.

Now she’s keeping an eye on the music charts in the orchestra.

“It’s just such a wonderful full-circle moment for me,” Sunay told CTV News.

Sunay returns home to Calgary as associate music director with Beetlejuice, which is making its Canadian premiere on Jan. 7.

The William Aberhart High School graduate is no stranger to the stage at the Jubilee, having performed in local productions and serving as an accompanist on piano for the Kiwanis Music Festival.
