Calgary Wranglers defeat Manitoba Moose 5-4 [Video]

The Wranglers kicked off 2025 with a thriller Friday night, defeating the Moose 5-4 in overtime in a game played at the Saddledome.

Martin Frk scored his second goal of the night in overtime to squash a third-period Manitoba rally and give Calgary the win.

Dryden Hunt, William Stromgren, David Silye added singles for the Wranglers.

Alex Johnsson-Fjalby, Parker Ford, Chaz Lucius and Mason Shaw scored for the Moose, who erased a 4-2 deficit in the third to force overtime.

Fryk led the way for the Wranglers, picking up three points on the night, while Hunt scored in his 300^th AHL game.

Next up is a rematch Sunday night at the Saddledome. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m.
