Canada issues travel advisories for these popular March break destinations [Video]

March break is nearly here and many families are planning a holiday from Canada’s harsh winter.

With looming U.S. tariffs this year, some people may plan a trip outside of the usual Disney experience in Florida or California. There are tons of great options for a family adventure including Costa Rica, Mexico or Ecuador.

Before heading out, travellers can check out the latest advice and warnings.

The federal government maintains a Travel Advice and Advisories page to help travellers make informed decisions and travel safely outside Canada.

They analyze trends and incidents affecting international travellers, monitor world events and collect updated reports from different sources.
