Canada PM, Justin Trudeau Resignation Statement [Video]

The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has said his success as the leader of Canada was a result of the support of his family.

Naija News reported that the Liberal Party former leader announced his resignation on Monday.

In a statement transcribed by Naija News, Trudeau said he would not be the best candidate for his party ahead of the next general election.

He also disclosed that he had told the president of his party to begin the process of selecting another leader of the Liberal Party.

Trudeau added that his internal battles were responsible for his resignation.
