The next prime minister of Canada met with Justin Trudeau Monday, and vowed to win the trade war with the United States. Mark Carney said Canada “did not ask for this fight” and then referenced fighting in hockey by saying, “Canadians are always ready when someone else drops the gloves. So the Americans, they should make no mistake. In trade as in hockey, Canada will win.”
