CANADA’S newly-elected Prime Minister Mark Carney pledged that Donald Trump “will never break us” – and also slammed the United States’ “betrayal” of his nation.

The defiant election-winner made his stark rebuke of The Don after his Liberal party won control of parliament in a stunning reversal of fortune.

He told cheering supporters in Ottawa that they “will win this trade war”, while warning of “challenging” days ahead brought on by Trump’s tariffs and annexation threats.
