Even though he just turned 12 on Monday, Brampton’s own Landyn Griffin is working the comedy circuit as “Canada’s Youngest Comic” and getting ready for his first big home-town performance.

Working under the handle Kid Says the Darndest Things on Instagram, the young Brampton comic takes one-liners and grown-up themes and “flips them on their head” from a kid’s point of view, says Landyn’s father and fellow comic Neil Griffin.

“Online dating is hard at 11, sorry, 12. Any time I match with someone and we meet, they always go to jail,” Landyn told the crowd at Yuk Yuks on Tuesday during a set on amateur night. “I gotta get off Tinder – Bumble here I come.”
