Canadian man drowns after medical emergency at Lake of the Ozarks [Video]

CAMDEN CO., Mo. (KCTV) – A Canadian man has been pronounced deceased after a 2-hour search following a medical emergency at Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that just after 6:55 p.m. on Friday, July 12, emergency crews were called to the Osage Arm of Lake of the Ozarks in Camden Co. with reports of a drowning.

When first responders arrived, they said they found Lawrence P. Moore, 78, of St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, suffered a medical emergency and fell into the water from a dock.

Rescuers said they searched the water until they found Moore just before 9 p.m. and pronounced him deceased. No further information has been released.
