Canadian medical equipment manufacturer opening High Point facility [Video]

The new site will be the United States headquarters for Torvan Medical.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Last week, the City of High Point announced that a Canadian medical equipment manufacturing firm is planning to build a new facility on Green Point Drive.

Torvan Medical will invest $15 million in the facility, according to the city, creating 35 new jobs in the process.

Torvan Medical, founded in 2009, specializes in making high-tech medical equipmnt such as endoscope cabinets, height-adjustable workstations and reprocessing sinks. The High Point site will house Torvan’s United States headquarters, research and development, training, manufacturing, assembly and distribution operations.
