The appointment of Jennie Carignan as Canada’s new chief of the defense staff has made her the first woman to hold the Canadian military’s top job. Glenn Miller, president of Lethbridge United Services Institute, and veteran member of the Royal Canadian Legion, applauded the recent announcement made by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
